Hello!  My name is Janneil Crader.  This is my second year teaching at Ft. Leavenworth.  I have a Business Degree from Columbia College and received my Elementary Education Licensure from Ottawa University.  I live in Overland Park, KS with my husband, Mike and our three children:  Paul, Kyle and Kaitlyn.     I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, going to movies, playing volleyball and golf.

Welcome to one of the most incredible years your child will have in his/her school career!  First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning.  This is a year of incredible growth!  Your child will learn to read, write, add, subtract, and become a member of their classroom community. 

I believe that all children are capable of learning.  Each child will progress at his/her own rate, acquiring skills as he/she is developmentally ready.  Maintaining each child’s self-esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always remain a priority in our first grade.
